Flint's First Dip

At first he cried when we dipped him toes in the water but after a few minutes he fussed when we took him out of the water. Hope he learns to like the pool....we plan on living there this summer!! :-)

Overheard today from one of the girls as they were playing upstairs. "Ok let's PRETEND we are having fun" Just one day in to summer vacation and they are already bored. :-)

Introducing Flint

When you are expecting your first child you are hoping that the child is cute. With the 2nd child you are just hoping for healthy. With the 3rd child you are hoping for a happy baby and with the 4th.....you are just hoping that the child SLEEPS!!

I am so glad to say that Flint is all 4 of these.....CUTE, HEALTHY, HAPPY and SLEEPY!

Dear Mr. President

There are alot of words we could use to describe Brya and one of the first that comes to mind is "ACTIVIST". Once she gets a "bug in her bonnet" about something there is no stopping her. She has always been opposed to the death penalty but when she realized that hanging was still legal in some states she just had to do something.......Here is what she did.

I don't think she realizes that her reason for writing was not addressed in the letter but it is still cool to get a letter that "has the President's signature"!!!
